Do Not Fear Confrontation

Interesting Video, thanks. Your blog entry on stand-up meetings was very useful as well.

A team leader wanting their team to learn is good, but the team leader should constantly ask the team and him/herself, "what can I do to make this happen?". I prefer the term "wanting" as opposed to "expecting" to learn, as it suggests collaboration between the leader and team to make it happen, that learning is a perk to be enjoyed by EVERYONE rather than a requirement. Alternatively "expect" the team to learn but also make it clear that you're there to help them with whatever they require to enable that.

Don't fear confrontation but be honest about whether there's something you can do too.
